OEM Readers
ADVANCED FEATURES, WIDE CHOICE OF INTERFACES, BUILT IN PCB-ANTENNA
The OEM contactless Mifare readers characterizes the
same functionality as the corresponding readers. The hi-tech electronics
and firmware allow to choice as a communication interface any Wiegand
format between 26 and 128 bits, ABA TRACK II, RS 485, BPA9
or custom format. A reader platform also allows an easy configuration
and functionality settings through an internal firmware downloading.
ASEC's engineers are able to design a new version of OEM reader in
accordance with customer's requirements.
Based on OTI's patented matched antenna technology providing power
and communications to the cards, the smart card reader is an integral
component of our innovative product solutions whether the customer
requires merely an OEM reader board or a counter-ready point-of-sale
reader. Installation is greatly simplified through the use of an external
antenna that can be installed up to 33 meters, or 100 feet, from the
reader. This not only frees customers from the need to dismantle current
systems to integrate the OTI reader into system, but also protects
the core electronics from potential vandalism.
OTI's readers equipment meets industry standards: ISO 14443 Type A/B and ISO 7816, which facilitates integration
into customers' systems. In addition, the reader technology has already
been integrated with major peripheral systems providers, simplifying
the process of launching a new program or upgrading an existing one.Examples
